Well just got back from my supermarket trolley count, 2 normal supermarket jobs and a petrol one. The rest of the week I have one more petrol, regular supermarket audit, spicy chicken, convenience store and chemist. Think that is it. And hope so - need a break from a busy last week and weekend.

Time for lunch now and a cuppa before I put in my reports. Son looked after breakky for Dad while I was out and daughter is cooking tea so I don't have to do anything which is nice.

I live in Canterbury, NZ where we had a huge earthquake this morning.

We are fine as we are out of the city, although a bit closer to the epicentre. Have, power water and sewer unlike much of the city where these have all been turned off until checked.

The CBD is closed, and probably most of the malls. The earliest assignement I have due is for Tuesday/Wednesday so will see what it is like then. Just as well I had no shops planned for the weekend.

Now over the years we have sported a few evening calls to do jobs, which is okay...to a point. Dear old GB has never rung us much after 8.30pm and always before 9pm. MP pushed the envelope a bit a few years back, ringing at 9pm and asking hubby to do an urgent job 680km away (one way)!
Now us older (...older? did I say older?) country folk tend to get up earlier and go to bed earlier...even on a Friday night, so it was a bit of a shock for both of us to be woken up at...wait for it... 9.45pm by RR asked to do an urgent job today.
10pm phone calls anyone???
