I forgot purple (sorry - Mrs G - keep confusing me) was off on a wee trip. Probably recovering from the bumpy flight home, so will start the thread for her.

Very busy week for me. Several gaming jobs, several petrol ones and servo price checks, one chemist, supermarket audit, liquor audit and, if I can fit any in, a couple of small telecommunications audits. In between that I have my volunteer work, washing all the wet dirty curtains and large rug from our hail/water damage on Saturday, as well as still searching for a new house.

the rest of the week I have a sleep shop.

I'm either in holiday mode or very tired. Read that as 'the rest of the week I have a sleep' (to recover from all the other MS jobs)!

not too much - finish eleads, liquor stores, mechanics' phone calls, meal with parents and babysitting.   Really hope to pick up more.  This is an unusually quiet start of the month for me

Homewares, clothing, still waiting on elead response, phone and betting jobs.

I seem to have all my work from one or two companies.

There have been several companies that have been very quiet lately.

I have 2 clothing, a couple of audits and a few jobs waiting followup.  I also have a very  nice meal out for Friday night.    So, not much, but I ended up picking up quite a few, by my standards,  last week.

Glad you are back safe and sound Mrs G.  I was wondering if you were flying through all that last night.  Hope you had a lovely time.

I have car calls and eleads, two banks, a petrol, and a couple of pizzas.  I am really stocked with the last two weeks worth of work, it probably means though that i will have nothing for the next two!!

I love my job!

My grandmotherly aunt with Alzheimers broke her hip and spent the tail end of November last year in the hospital. She spent the end of December & most of January in a rehab hospital, and has spent the end of Jan, all of Feb and the start of March in a nursing home. We visited her Friday arvo, and we thought she was her usual vague self when she was saying that my dad brought a framed picture to her a few days prior and when she said the person next door to her smokes, but it turns out my dad DID bring a picture to her, and the person next to her DOES smoke.

This was a big positive for us, because we had all been led to believe that she wasn't capable of forming new memories, only recalling old ones that she was also slowly losing.  Also, at the end of the visit, she had to go to the bathroom, and we watched as the staff helped her to stand and shuffle a few steps to a wheelchair, when back at the rehab hospital she refused to stand or walk, and we didn't think that she even COULD stand any more.  So we really thought she was slowly improving under their care.

This morning they found her "non-responsive" when they checked on her before breakfast.  She's been taken back to hospital in the emergency department and is having tests now to see what happened.

It is so sad to watch our family suffer from dementia and all types of memory loss.  My dad has had Parkinson's for about the last 10 years, and has recently been diagnosed with Parkinsons related dementia.  While he is not too bad yet, it is hard for me to see the intelligent man he was, who could fix any computer, spell like a dictionary, and worked as computer programmer for many government departments most recently the taxation office, become a man who stumbles over his words, and can't remember where he put his keys, wallet or pants sometimes.  He has been told he can no longer drive too, which is another aspect of my parents freedom that is gone.

it is up to us to write down our parents and grandparents stories, before they are forgotten.  There are so many stories that I don't know, that my kids don't know, and they need to just so that they can still know who came before them.

I love my job!

So far I have nothing this week but I haven't really been looking too much.

I have some sad news also.  My best friend's brother who is only 29 had a major brain anurism late last week.  He has only a 3% chance of pulling through.

And with working part-time, two small kiddies and renovating our house there isn't a real lot of time this week for ms.

Now I'm shopping, I'm not stopping.
There will always be new stuff to buy and I'll expand my needs somehow [Millencolin]

Sorry to hear about your aunt KTB, and also your friends brother UA.

This week I have a busy one. Petrol, supermarket, phone store, display homes, clothing, cinema, alcohol, pharmacy and a few others.

Was hoping for a rest at some stage after mine and Casspers weekend, but it's not going to happen lol

Had a blast
